The Major Arcana Tarot Cards
Click on the tarot card name below that you wish to know more about. Each page includes a basic interpretation of the card, together with an image of the card - each from a different tarot deck (so you can really get a sense of the variety of Tarot Art)
One quite confusing aspect of Tarot is that some decks number the cards differently, for example card 8 and 11 (Justice and Strength) are often switched. Card 5, The Hierophant is often named The High Priest, and some card designers give entirely different names to many of the cards.
At the end of the day though, it is the archetypal energy that the cards represent that's important in the reading, not their name or number!
